Four grades — one for every application. Get this decision right and your furniture will last; get it wrong and you'll face swelling, lifting or fire compliance issues.
For dry interior furniture — wardrobes, TV units, shelving, office furniture, wall panelling. The most economical grade for standard indoor applications.
For occasional humidity — kitchen-area furniture not in direct water contact, bathroom storage areas, utility rooms. Green-core resin system resists humidity.
Premium MDF grade — denser core, superior moisture resistance. For modular kitchen shutters and humid commercial interiors where MR grade is insufficient.
IS:5509 fire-retardant rated MDF for commercial, institutional and hospitality projects where fire codes apply — hotels, hospitals, offices, schools.

MDF is engineered from fine uniform wood fibres giving a smooth, knot-free surface ideal for painting and lamination. Plywood is cross-laminated veneers — structurally stronger and better for nailing at edges. Choose MDF for smooth surfaces, plywood for structural work.
For kitchen shutters, specify Prelam HDF or HDHMR — not standard MDF. For kitchen-area furniture (not in the wet zone), MR Grade MDF is acceptable. For under-sink and wet-zone applications, always specify BWP/BOILO-grade HDF.
Yes — MDF is excellent for painting. Use White Primer MDF for the best painted finish (avoids fibre-furring). Our Spray Finish service applies factory-quality primer and lacquer in a controlled dust-free environment, giving a mirror-smooth result no brush can achieve.
18mm MDF REG grade is standard for wardrobe bodies, sides and shelves. Prelam MDF 18mm with matching prelam thin board backs (2.5–3mm) for the rear panel is the typical complete wardrobe specification.

Yes — our CNC beam saw cuts MDF to ±0.2mm accuracy. Submit your cut-list in any format (Excel, PDF, WhatsApp). Orders before 12pm are cut same day. We also apply ABS edge banding and spray finish on request.
