MDF is engineered from fine wood fibres giving a smooth, uniform surface ideal for painting and lamination. Plywood is cross-laminated veneers — stronger structurally and better for nailing/screwing at edges. For smooth surfaces choose MDF; for structural carcasses choose plywood; for kitchens choose HDHMR.
Prelam HDF or Prelam HDHMR for kitchen shutters — the high-density core resists moisture and impact better than standard MDF. For extreme wet-zone shutters (above sink, under-sink) specify BOILO (Action Tesa) or BoilBLACK (Greenpanel) BWP-grade core.
Yes. Submit your cut-list in any format — Excel, PDF, WhatsApp photo or verbal. Our CNC beam saw cuts to ±0.2mm accuracy on all board types. Orders placed before 12pm are cut same day. We also apply ABS edge banding and spray finish.
We stock the top 50 Paralam shades in ready stock — covering wood grains (teak, walnut, oak), matte whites, concrete grey, stone textures and solid colours. The full Paralam range has 250,000+ SKUs and special shades arrive in 3–5 days on order.
HDHMR (High-Density High-Moisture-Resistant) is a premium MDF variant with higher density and better moisture resistance. It is better than standard MDF for kitchen shutters but not as moisture-resistant as BWP plywood or BOILO HDF. It bridges the gap — better surface than plywood, more moisture-resistant than standard MDF.
